Eyelid Surgery
Just like any facial cosmetic surgery for men, it is critical they are treated more conservatively than women. The aim is to enhance not feminise.
For eyelid surgery, we aim to ensure men retain the rugged facial features that define the definitively handsome male: a lower and slight heavier brow with a slightly lower eyelid crease compared to the women.
Dr Liew believes most men with excessively low eyebrows can be treated with a brow fixation procedure rather than browlift surgery. This procedure can be combined can be with upper eyelid surgery through the same incision. In most cases these procedures can be performed as office based surgery.
Similarly, the approach to lower eyelid surgery in men also needs to be more conservative . The aim is to reduce the fatty bags but to avoid the “operated look”
