Cheek & Chin: Implant in a syringe
Procedure: 30 minutes. The area is anaesthetised with topical cream and a numbing injection.
Downtime: 24 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 months, depending on age of patients and dermal fillers used.
With the latest non surgical techniques we can now rejuvenate and dramatically enhance the cheek, jowl and jaw line using new dermal fillers to create cheek and chin implants. Commonly used fillers are the SQ filler, V filler and Juve filler.
Working to Dr Liew’s global beauty template – the Liew LIFT (Media "Concepts of Beauty", Dermatology Times 2009) dermal fillers are used to re-sculpt the mid and lower face and restore volume to create a youthful facial curve.
Strategically injected, the dermal fillers act as a 3-dimensional lattice, not only plumping up the cheek and jowl but also lifting these areas, creating a natural, fuller and more youthful looking cheek and chin. The procedure can also correct any minor deformity of the jowl and jawline.
The procedure will transform and glamourise the patient’s overall facial shape, giving them a more refreshed and attractive appearance. Indeed, the results of this procedure are often quite stunning.
