Hand Rejuvenation

Rough, dry blotchy hands are the most common telling sign of our age – yet it is often the most neglected part of our skin care.

Daily exposure to sun and routine household chores can accelerate the ageing process: the skin becomes thinner, “age spots” and unslightly pigmentation appear and the youthful fat layer diminishes, exposing veins and creating a “guttering” effect.

Using a simple combination of dermal fillers and Intense Pulse Light therapy (IPL) hands can now be rejuventated in much the same way we treat the face.

By injecting the new superfine and soft dermal fillers skin quality and volume is restored from within, reducing the “veiny” appearance and making aged hands appear younger and more hydrated.

Most patients require 2 separate sessions and a yearly top up.

One to two sessions of IPL treatment may also be needed to improve the skin tone and reduce and even erase any surface imperfections caused by ageing and sun damage.

Today, the notion 'the hands don’t lie' is no longer true.
