Facial Reshaping
Up until recently, the only way to reshape the human face was surgical intervention. Whilst the use of B anti-wrinkle injection to soften frown and forehead lines has been well established, its use in facial reshaping is the latest to be presented.
Dr Liew has pioneered its use in the Caucasian population. Initially being used to treat patients who grind their teeth, Dr Liew has found that with strategic injection of B anti-wrinkle injection into the masseter muscle in the cheek (chewing muscle), the lower face can be reshaped into a more harmonious form, in balance with the other facial features, with the added bonus of lessening the night grinding of the teeth.
From careful analysis of a large number of actors and models of different racial backgrounds and who are considered universally beautiful, Dr Liew has observed that they all share a common facial shape as well as specific measurements of the angle of their jawline: The Angle of Beauty. Dr Liew has also proposed the term global standard of a perfect facial shape that is acceptable to all racial backgrounds. In essence, if a female facial shape fits into or can be reshaped into this global standard, she will have a facial shape that will be considered as attractive regardless of her racial or cultural background.
Facial reshaping can be easily achieved by a few injections of B anti-wrinkle product into the muscle of the cheek. Each procedure takes about 20 minutes with virtually no down time. Patients can normally notice the results within 2 to 4 weeks. The lower face will look slimmer and more feminine. The results last from 12 to 15 months.
