How to Prepare for Vascular Laser Treatment
To support safe treatment and reduce the likelihood of side effects, please follow these guidelines before your appointment (unless advised otherwise by your practitioner):

Avoid prescription topical Vitamin A products or hydroquinone for at least 72 hours prior.

Refrain from fake tanning or solarium use for 2–4 weeks before treatment.

Do not wax or use other hair removal methods on the treatment area.

Minimise direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your session.
Aftercare Following Vascular Laser Treatment
Immediately after treatment, your practitioner may apply a soothing cream to the area. Temporary redness, swelling, or mild bruising are common and usually resolve within several days, although recovery times differ between individuals.
General aftercare advice may include:
