Results

What Causes Breast Asymmetry?

Breast asymmetry, common and often mild, can arise from factors like natural development, hormonal shifts, weight fluctuations, surgeries, or rarely, underlying medical conditions.

Are there any risks associated with asymmetry surgery?

As with any surgery, risks like infection, bleeding, and scarring exist. Risks specific to breast procedures include the following:

Mastopexy (breast lift): Risks can include nipple necrosis (tissue death) and capsular contracture (scar tissue around implants).
Augmentation: Implant rupture, leakage, or malposition are potential risks. Additionally, capsular contracture and asymmetry can occur.
