Dr. Ania Smialkowski is a fully qualified Australian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She first completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Notre Dame in Perth. Afterward, she returned to Sydney to begin her internship at St Vincent’s Hospital, continuing her surgical and specialist training in Sydney for over 10 years.
Dr. Smialkowski received her specialist qualifications in plastic and reconstructive surgery, awarded by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Following this, she pursued further training in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, completing the Sydney Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with a focus on breast and body surgery. She also completed a Breast Reconstruction and Microsurgery Fellowship at Hospital de la Santa Creu i San Pau in Barcelona, Spain, learning from world leaders in the field.
Dr. Smialkowski has spent extended periods in Europe, visiting clinics, conferences, and courses to further enhance her expertise in plastic and cosmetic surgery.
