Abdominoplasty
A surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen, and may tighten underlying muscles.
Dr Ania Smialkowski FRACS (MED0001668109) is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and AHPRA. She completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Notre Dame in Perth. She began her medical career at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, where she also undertook her surgical training over more than a decade.
Dr Smialkowski obtained her specialist qualifications in plastic and reconstructive surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She subsequently completed the Sydney Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship, focusing on breast and body procedures, and undertook a Breast Reconstruction and Microsurgery Fellowship at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain.
She has also participated in international professional development through visits to clinics, conferences, and training programs in Europe.
