Abdominoplasty
A surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen, and may tighten underlying muscles.
Dr Henry Shepherd MED0001860545 is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (FRACS) who trained with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine with first-class honours equivalent from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Surgery in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Sydney University.
Dr Shepherd has trained internationally in London, New York, Paris and Barcelona. This included an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious The London Clinic – a world-leading institution on the famous Harley St which is the hospital of choice for royal families, celebrities and the ultra-wealthy. During his time there he worked alongside pioneers in aesthetic surgery of the breast and body to deliver excellent results to the most discerning patients.
Dr Shepherd also completed a Reconstructive and Microsurgery Fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, considered one of the top 10 cancer hospitals globally. His focus was skin cancer management and reconstruction following breast cancer. He was part of the team who performed the first robotic microsurgical breast reconstruction in the United Kingdom.
