Dr Danae Lim

Dr Danae Lim MED0001188982 is a registered medical practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical experience across emergency medicine and cosmetic medicine. A graduate of the University of Sydney, she began her career with Hunter New England Health, then worked as an emergency medical officer with the Greater Southern Area Health Service before undertaking extensive training in cosmetic medicine. Her practice focuses on non-surgical cosmetic procedures, collagen-stimulating treatments and advanced skin therapies, including PDO thread lifts, RF microneedling and laser skin treatments, with a particular interest in Asian aesthetics. She has practised at Shape Clinic since 2018.

Dr Lim is a national clinical trainer who educates other healthcare professionals. She is an accredited MINT Thread Lift National Trainer, a National Trainer for InMode, and National Head Trainer for the Profhilo portfolio. She is also a consultant speaker for Candela Medical, Galderma Australia and Crown Aesthetics/Advanced Skin Technology. She lectures on skin health, including a presentation on macro and micro nutrients in skin health. Dr Lim consults for, and provides training on behalf of, medical technology and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr Lim is co-founder of the Australasian College of Asian Aesthetics and a Director of the Australasian Medical Services Coalition. She is a founding advisory doctor to TAMP Inc., a former Management Committee member of the Australian Chinese Medical Association NSW, and a member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists. She holds an Honorary Consultant role in Cosmetic Medicine and is a Bioscor Trusted Partner for non-surgical hair regrowth treatments. She maintains an active interest in skin health research and evidence-based practice.
